The Pre-Instrument Class is for students in preschool or just
beginning kindergarten. The class is a pre-requisite to instrument
lessons for students who may be too old to enter our early childhood
program, or for those who have completed the early childhood program. It
is designed for students who need more of an introduction to each
instrument before choosing their musical path.
The 18-week class will
focus on parent training, repertoire and rhythm familiarity, and practice skills. The semester will be divided between two weeks of parent education, 12 weeks of introduction to each instrument, and 3 weeks of group class observations. The final week will include a recap of the semester, and a certificate presentation.
